HEIGHT App FAQ for Adults

  • What exactly does the Height app do? +

Height is an adult-only app (21+) that scans your posture with AI, estimates how much height you’ve lost from compression and bad habits, and builds a daily routine to help you reclaim it.
You get an AI posture scan, a “true genetic height” estimate, a recovered-height progress chart, and short routines that target your spine, hips, shoulders, and support muscles.

  • Can I still get taller if my growth plates are closed? +

You can’t change your genetic maximum height once growth plates are closed, and we don’t pretend you can.
What you can often do as an adult is reclaim height you’ve already earned but lost to spinal compression, poor posture, and weak stabilizing muscles. Height focuses 100% on that: improving posture, decompression, and alignment so you stand as tall as your body realistically allows.

  • How much extra height can most adults realistically gain? +

Results always vary, but most adults can realistically reclaim around 2–6 cm (0.8–2.3 inches) of lost height over time by improving posture and reducing compression.
Some people might see more, some less – it depends on your starting posture, body type, training consistency, and existing issues. Height doesn’t promise miracles; it gives you a structured way to reach your best real-world height.

  • How does the AI posture scan work? +

You take guided photos inside the app. Our AI analyzes angles in your spine, neck, hips, shoulders, and knees, plus your current height and other data you enter (like parent heights).
From that, Height estimates your postural deficiencies and your realistic genetic height range, then builds a custom routine focused on the zones holding you back the most.

  • Is Height a medical app? Can it diagnose or treat conditions? +

No. Height is a fitness and posture coaching app, not a medical device and not a replacement for a doctor, physio, or chiropractor.
We don’t diagnose conditions like scoliosis, herniated discs, or spinal disease. If you have pain, an injury, or a known condition, you should talk to a qualified health professional before starting any new program, including Height.

  • Is this safe if I already have back or joint issues? +

Many of our movements are low-impact and mobility-focused, but everyone’s situation is different.
If you have back pain, disc issues, surgery history, severe scoliosis, or any medical concerns, get cleared by your doctor or physio first and follow their limits. You can always skip or modify exercises that don’t feel right—your long-term spine health is more important than rushing progress.

  • Why is Height only for adults 21+? +

    There are two main reasons.
Ethics and safety: Teenagers and kids are still growing, and they should be under direct guidance of doctors or qualified professionals.
Positioning: We built Height very specifically for adults who feel “compressed” from years of work, screens, and lifting. The language, routines, and tracking are all tailored to adults with closed growth plates, not kids.

  • How long before I start noticing results? +

Most people feel different (less tight, more upright) within 2–4 weeks of consistent use.
Visible height changes are usually more gradual – think months, not days. The app’s “recovered height” chart shows small changes over time so you can see the trend even when the day-to-day difference feels subtle.

  • How much time do the routines take each day? +

Most Height sessions are designed to fit into 10–20 minutes, with optional “deep” sessions if you want to do more.
You’ll see faster results by staying consistent with shorter routines than by smashing yourself once in a while and quitting.

  • What equipment do I need? +

You can start Height with no equipment at all, just floor space and a wall.
The app can optionally use things like a yoga mat, doorway pull-up bar, resistance bands, or light dumbbells. As you set up your profile, Height builds your plan around whatever you actually have access to.

  • What’s the difference between Height and a normal workout or stretching app? +

Regular fitness apps focus mainly on strength, muscle, or fat loss. Height is built from the ground up around posture, decompression, and height recovery.
Everything, from the AI scan to your “recovered height” chart, is tuned to:

    • reduce spinal compression
    • fix long-term postural imbalances
    • strengthen the muscles that literally hold you taller
It’s not about random workouts. It’s about reclaiming centimeters.
  • Does Height guarantee I’ll get taller? +

No app or program can guarantee a specific height result, and anyone saying otherwise is lying.
Height gives you the best realistic shot at:

    • regaining height lost to posture and compression
    • standing closer to your true genetic height
    • feeling stronger, looser, and more confident in how you carry yourself
We’re honest about what’s possible, and the app tracks your actual outcomes instead of hiding behind hype.
  • How accurate is the “genetic height” estimate? +

The estimate is an educated approximation, not a crystal ball.
    It’s based on data like:

    • your current height
    • your parents’ heights (if you know them)
    • your age
    • posture analysis from the AI scan
It gives you a realistic range and target, not a promise. The main value is showing you how much of that range you may have already given up to posture and compression.
  • Do I need to be in perfect shape to start? +

Not at all. Height is built for regular adults, desk workers, lifters, ex-athletes, and people who haven’t trained in years.
The app starts from your current level and gradually ramps up. You can always mark movements as too easy, too hard, or painful so the system learns and adapts.

  • How does nutrition fit into this? Can food really affect my height? +

Nutrition won’t change your genetics, but it can support:

    • postural muscle recovery
    • connective tissue and disc health
    • overall energy and consistency
Height’s nutrition guidance focuses on hydration, protein, and micronutrients that support spinal hydration and postural muscles, so your body can actually hold the posture you’re training.
  • How often should I use the app? +

For best results, we recommend at least 4–6 days per week of short sessions.
Height is designed around high consistency and low daily friction, small wins that stack over months into meaningful changes in posture and height.
